Our mission
Our team supports business and tourism through the improvement and maintenance of the South of Joburg infrastructure, safety, cleanliness, environment and charitable initiatives.
Our vision
Our vision is an improved and attractive South of Joburg that balances economic growth with community vitality. By creating an environment where businesses prosper and people feel at home.
Our history
Formed as a Section 21 company and originally known as the Booysens Business Forum, SOJO Business and Tourism was established in 2003 through a merger with the Southern Business Partnership.
Community Farm
The Community Farm Program empowers individuals through sustainable agriculture. It fosters self-sufficiency and promotes healthy eating by providing essential tools and knowledge in agriculture, land management, and entrepreneurship. Participants learn to grow food for personal consumption and potential income, improving their lives and communities through education on best agricultural practices and basic business skills.
